Inaugural Songwriters Festival to Bring Artists, Original Music and a Mission to Downtown Myrtle Beach

Nov. 13–14, 2026 - transforming downtown Myrtle Beach into a walkable collection of listening rooms and live music spaces.

Greg Rowles sits down with Melissa Joiner and Scott Jackson to get the scoop on the upcoming Myrtle Beach Songwriters Festival.

The inaugural Myrtle Beach Songwriters Festival will bring more than 50 singer-songwriters, musicians and poets from across the United States to Myrtle Beach this fall for two days of original music, storytelling and community impact.

Presented by the nonprofit Songs That Save Foundation, the Festival will take place Nov. 13–14, 2026, transforming downtown Myrtle Beach into a walkable collection of listening rooms and live music spaces where audiences can experience original songs in the intimate settings in which they were meant to be heard.

The festival is free and open to the public and will feature artists representing a wide range of genres and musical backgrounds performing throughout downtown Myrtle Beach.

Participating venues include Grand Strand Brewing Company, Winna’s Kitchen, The Dolly Llama, The Tasting Room on 9th, Fresh Brewed Coffee House, and Swig & Swine, creating a walkable festival experience that encourages attendees to move throughout downtown while discovering original music and supporting local businesses.

Festivities begin Friday, Nov. 13, with the official Festival Kickoff Party at Swig & Swine from 6–9 p.m.

The main festival takes place Saturday, Nov. 14, with songwriter rounds and performances throughout downtown Myrtle Beach, followed by a Grand Finale celebration at Grand Strand Brewing Company bringing artists and audiences together to close out the weekend.

Additional artist announcements, full performance schedules, venue information, sponsorship opportunities, volunteer opportunities and festival updates will be available through the Myrtle Beach Songwriters Festival website at MyrtleBeachSongwritersFestival.com and social media channels.
