The Seattle Seahawks opened the 2026 NFL season with a comeback victory against the New England Patriots.
In the first half, Seattle’s quarterback Sam Darnold was ruled out after suffering a hip injury on the opening drive. Drew Lock went in as the backup QB.
The Patriots held a 7-0 lead at halftime before a field goal gave them a 10-0 lead. The Seahawks went on to tie the score 10 up before kicking a field goal to lead 13-10.
