Two People Hurt Following I-95 Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer

The tractor-trailer was reportedly carrying general, non-hazardous freight, but firefighters did identify an active diesel fuel leak from it.

A crash involving a tractor-trailer left two people injured.

The accident happened around 6:30am Wednesday along I-95 in the northbound lane near mile marker 159 in Florence County.

Members of Florence County’s Emergency Response Team responded to the scene to assist with containment. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
