Another arrest has been made following theft at a Duke Energy facility in Florence County.

The incident reportedly took place between the dates of Aug. 10 and August 25. The suspects are accused of entering the property and removing around $80 thousand dollars worth of equipment and materials including a boat, reels of copper wire, batteries, and other items. The stolen property was located on N. Tobin Drive during the execution of a search warrant.

Previously, Charles McGee was arrested and charged with 3rd degree burglary, grand larceny, transportation of stolen metals, and possession with intent to distribute meth. Now, Richard Jackson has also been arrested and faces the same charges, excluding the drug related offense. Both are being held at the Florence County Detention Center.
