The recall covers its 15mL bottles of Clear Eyes Maximum Eye Relief drops. It was placed due to a “lack of assurance of sterility.” The bottles were distributed nationwide.

The FDA has classified this as a Class II recall, which means the “use of or exposure to” may cause “temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

Consumers should not use the recalled drops, as they could be contaminated or cause infection.
