Muldrow Sr, Repete
Elder Repete “Ollie” Muldrow, Sr. was born to David Muldrow and Allie Mae Mouzon on March 31, 1933 in Florence, South Carolina. He departed from labor to reward on Friday, February 18, 2011 at his residence after an illness. “Ollie”, as he was lovingly called, attended the public schools of Florence County and was employed with the City of Florence for 14 one space½ years. At an early age, Elder Muldrow confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Bethel Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Ulysses I. McCall. He was also ordained as an Elder by Bishop McCall. On February 22, 1956, he was joined in holy matrimony to Minnie Lee Thompson. This union was blessed with five children. Left to cherish precious memories are: one son, Repete, Jr. (Marsha) Muldrow of Florence, SC; four daughters, Mary (Partee) Bell, Gurley Campbell and Linda Campbell, all of Florence, SC, and Shirley (Randolph) Wallace of Baltimore, MD; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Rolene Muldrow of Rochester, NY; Rebecca Woods and Linnie Woods of Florence, SC; brothers-in-law, Isaac Woods and Handy Woods, Jr. of Newark, NJ, and Cornelius Gibson of Florence, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Mrs. Mary Alexander and family for the love given our father during his time of illness. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Minnie Lee Thompson Muldrow; two brothers, Allen Muldrow and his twin, Pete Muldrow; one sister, Estelle Gibson; and two sons-in-law, Harris Campbell and Thomas Campbell.
