Investigation Underway After Woman Found Deceased

33-year-old Jeneil Leon was found dead with a gunshot wound. She was originally from Jamaica.

One woman was found deceased following a welfare check in Horry County.

The welfare check was conducted at a home along Greens Boulevard in Myrtle Beach on July 21. 33-year-old Jeneil Leon was found dead with a gunshot wound. She was originally from Jamaica.

Leon’s death is being investigated as a homicide and a person of interest has been identified but their identity was not publicly revealed.
