Fire Breaks Out At Florence Five Star Chevrolet Dealership

Crews entered the building to begin suppression efforts and conduct search and rescue operations.

The Florence Fire Department responded to a commercial fire Thursday.

Around 6:30am, crews responded to the Five Star Chevrolet along David H. McLeod Boulevard. They witnessed smoke coming from the side of the building.

Crews entered the building to begin suppression efforts and conduct search and rescue operations. The flames were brought under control in around 10 minutes.

A search of the building was conducted twice. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Florence County EMS and police provided on-scene support.
