According to Zillow’s 2026 paint color analysis found that adding “warmer colors” to some rooms in your home can notably increase buyer’s interest and add some more coin to your pockets with their offers. Researchers say the highest-value interior paint choice was chocolate brown in a bedroom, which could add about 22 hundred dollars more to a home’s offer price.

Other high-performing colors included pale blue in the living room, in bedrooms, charcoal gray could add about 12 hundred dollars while sage green could add about around one thousand. Analysts say darker kitchen colors also performed well…including charcoal gray and dark plum.
