A new analysis ranked the luckiest lottery cities in America, with Los Angeles taking the top spot and California leading all states for the most winning tickets sold. The rankings are based on where winning tickets have been purchased over the years, though experts say that’s largely because more tickets are sold in bigger cities and states. In other words, buying a ticket in a “lucky” location doesn’t magically improve your odds. The largest total prize payouts distinction went to Danvers, Massachusetts. Other cities topping the list for prize money included Orangeburg, South Carolina…Tampa, Florida…Delray Beach, Florida… and Frisco, Texas.
