Best Buy Recalls Around 4,000 Gas Ranges

The recall covers Insignia Front Control Gas Ranges and was placed after reports of the knobs being accidentally activated.

Around 4,000 gas ranges sold by Best Buy have been recalled.

The recall covers Insignia Front Control Gas Ranges and was placed after reports of the knobs being accidentally activated.

The stainless-steel ranges have five control knobs on the front and can be turned on by unintentional contact from a human or pet, which creates a fire and injury risk.

The ranges were sold at Best Buy stores nationwide and online between November 2020 through March 2026.

Consumers are being instructed to stop using them immediately and contact Best Buy for a set of compatible knob covers.
