Ocean Boulevard String Lights Installation Underway
Work will run nightly from midnight-8am through Friday. Portions of Ocean Boulevard will be closed during active installation hours.
The city of Myrtle Beach has started installing year-round string lights along Ocean Boulevard downtown.
Work will run nightly from midnight-8am through Friday. Portions of Ocean Boulevard will be closed during active installation hours.
The project was approved by the city council and funded through the city’s capital budget as part of the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance’s Ocean Boulevard Revitalization initiative.
The string lights will reach pole to pole along the boulevard adding warmth, visibility, and character to the corridor.
