Causey, Tracy Wayne

Mr. Causey was born in Lakeview, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Lee and Janie Norman Causey. Tracy served his country in the United States Army. He loved writing gospel songs and playing his guitar. The family also said that he was known for his ability to fix anything and he could do just that. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be missed dearly. Surviving are his wife, Dianne Gilbert Causey of Darlington; his children, Tracy Perdue of Cheraw, Bronice Causey Windham of Lamar; his step daughters, April Dianne Gilbert, Amy Melissa Gilbert both of Darlington and Brenda Windham of Lamar; his grandchildren, June Johnson of Hartsville, Michelle Ward of Lamar, Michela Shirley of Darlington, Robert Jean Windham of Lamar and Cory Causey; 7 great grandchildren; his sisters, Omelia Carter of Florence, Margaret Stockton of Fork, SC and Norma Christmas of Dillon; his step father in law and mother in law, Tillman and Mary Hall of Hartsville; and a special niece, Ashya Gilbert of Darlington. Mr. Causey was preceded in death by his children, Carl Lee Causey and Estella Causey Grooms; his grandchildren, Robin Joyce Windham and Payton Johnson; and by his brother, Lee Junior Causey. Funeral services for Mr. Tracy Wayne Causey, 77, of Darlington who passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011 will be held Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Florence National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 327 Dotts Circle, Darlington.
