Investigation Underway After National Mall Vandalized

A spokesperson said the vandalism at the National Mall is "deranged" and "will not be tolerated" and any threat against the president is taken very seriously.

An investigation is underway into vandalism at the National Mall in Washington.

Giant markings of the numbers ‘8647’ appeared on the lawn prompting the investigation by federal authorities and claims of “political violence” by the White House.

The sequence of numbers is at the heart of a criminal case against former FBI director James Comey. He was indicted after the DOJ argued he had threatened President Trump’s life. He posted a photo of seashells arranged to display the number sequence.

Trump is the 45th and 47th president. 86 is lingo for a restaurant item that has run out and needs to come off the menu.
