Two Women Arrested In Connection To Scotland Co. Stabbing

Deputies were called to Price Street where a victim was located suffering from multiple stab wounds.

A stabbing incident in Scotland County left one victim in critical condition.

On Tuesday, deputies were called to Price Street where a victim was located suffering from multiple stab wounds.

During an investigation, officials learned that the incident unfolded on Old Track Road near the South Carolina state line and that the victim had been transported to Price Street to wait for emergency personnel.

32-year-old Lagenia Everell was arrested in the area the attack happened while 30-year-old Branisa McEachin turned herself in Wednesday morning.

Both women have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.

The investigation remains underway and additional charges are expected. Anyone with information should contact Scotland County authorities.
