Russell Wilson Announces Retirement From NFL

Russell Wilson earned Pro Bowl honors in nine of his first 10 seasons and Seattle won the Super Bowl 48 title in his second season.

Russell Wilson is retiring from the NFL.

The 37-year-old took to social media to announce he is ending his 14-year NFL career. His time was mostly spent with the Seattle Seahawks.

Wilson was taken in the third round of the 2011 draft after one transfer season at Wisconsin. He won the Seahawks’ starting quarterback job as a rookie and never looked back.
