Single-Vehicle Crash Leaves One Person Hurt

The accident happened around 7:15am Friday in the area of Highway 501 and Waccamaw Pines Drive.

A single-vehicle crash left one person injured in Horry County.

The accident happened around 7:15am Friday in the area of Highway 501 and Waccamaw Pines Drive in the Carolina Forest community.

Lanes of Myrtle Beach bound traffic on Highway 501 were blocked as crews worked the scene. The injured person was taken to a hospital to be treated.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating with assistance from the Horry County Police Department.
