Mr. Bryant died Sunday, February 13, 2011. Born in Society Hill, SC, he was a son of the late James Henry and Hallie Riley Bryant. He was the owner and operator of Bryant‘s Construction. Surviving are his wife, Doris Griggs Bryant, of Society Hill, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas (Crystal) Bryant of Hartsville, SC; daughters and son-in-law, Barbara (Vick) Williams of Florence, SC, Jeri Lea Thompson of Camden, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Frances (Bogan) Parker of Society Hill, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy (Shirley) Bryant of Society Hill, SC; grandchildren, Teddy Thompson, Erin Williams, Rachel McCreary, Megan Howle, Corey Howle, Tori Bryant, Gracie Bryant, Austin Bryant. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rufus Bryant. Graveside services for Jerry Dean Bryant, 66, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Harris Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Milton Bradshaw will officiate. Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home is serving the family. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
