N.C. Authorities Ask For Help Locating Wanted Teen

Authorities believe 17-year-old Jeremiah Lockhart is responsible for the shooting and he is wanted for murder.

Authorities in North Carolina are asking for help locating a wanted teen.

On Saturday, deputies responded to the area of N. Pearl Street in Chesterfield County where a 17-year-old victim was found suffering a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

An investigation revealed that the shooting occurred at a separate location within the county off CW Baker Circle, involving multiple individuals.

Authorities believe 17-year-old Jeremiah Lockhart is responsible for the shooting and he is wanted for murder. Although Lockhart is a minor, officials say he will be charged as an adult due to the nature of the crime.

The investigation remains underway and additional charges are expected. Anyone with information on Lockhart’s whereabouts should contact Chesterfield County authorities.
