Jernigan, Frances Lamb

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Frances Lamb Jernigan, 81, of Darlington who passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 will be held Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 2 PM in Black Creek Cemetery directed by Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. Mrs. Jernigan was born in Erwin, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Willie Richard and Nancy Ann Fowler Lamb. Frances was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Surviving are her husband, J.C. Jernigan of Darlington; her son, Richard Jernigan of Darlington; her grandchildren, Julius Jernigan, Jeanette Jernigan both of Darlington and Elizabeth Jernigan of Florida; her nieces, Nancy Hartman of Darlington, Judy Martin of Hartsville and Lydia Collins of Virginia; her nephews, Lee Byrd of Charlotte and Les Chiles of Hartsville; and several great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 PM Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home.
