Head-On Collision Claims Life Of One Person, Two Others Injured

The drive of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.

A head-on collision in Marion County claimed the life of one person.

The accident occurred shortly before 5:30pm Sunday along Highway 378 near Spur Court.

A Honda accord was traveling east when it crossed the center of the road and collided head-on with a Chevrolet pick-up truck that was heading west.

The drive of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a passenger of the Chevrolet were both injured and hospitalized.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is now investigating the crash.
