Person Removed From Sinking Vehicle Near Loris
Rescue divers were deployed to remove a person from the vehicle before it sank.
One person was rescued from a sinking vehicle Sunday.
Around 2:45am, Horry County Fire Rescue crews responded to the area of Flag Patch Road near Loris.
Rescue divers were deployed to remove a person from the vehicle before it sank in water near the E. Highway 9 Bypass. The person was taken to a hospital with injuries.
The submerged vehicle has since been pulled out of the water. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
