Man Arrested In Connection To Death Investigation

An investigation led to the arrest of Judson Hawkins III.

One person has been arrested in connection to a death investigation in Darlington County.

On Wednesday, 82-year-old Judson Hawkins Jr. was found deceased inside his home in the 2500 block of Kelleytown Road.

The cause and manner of his death was not immediately available but it appeared he had been dead “for an extended period of time.”

An investigation led to the arrest of Judson Hawkins III. He has been charged with destruction or removal of human remains as well as obstructing justice.
