Two People Arrested Following Armed Robbery At Florence Motel
34-year-old Kashyma Cannady reportedly lured a victim into a room at the motel.
Two people have been arrested in connection to an armed robbery that took place at a motel in Florence.
The incident unfolded on Saturday at the Suburban Extended Stay motel on West Lucas Street. 34-year-old Kashyma Cannady reportedly lured a victim into a room at the motel. 40-year-old John Dennis was waiting there. He allegedly robbed the victim at gunpoint and used the stolen credit card to withdraw money from the account.
Dennis was charged with armed robbery, pointing and presenting a firearm, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, financial transaction card theft, and more. Cannady was charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and giving false information to law enforcement.
Cannady is being held at the Florence County Detention Center on a $7,000 bond and Dennis is awaiting a bond hearing.
