Fireworks Returning To Mount Rushmore For America’s 250th Anniversary

It's bringing back the fireworks after a five year hiatus to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.

South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore is planning a fireworks show for the Fourth of July this year.

The national memorial announced it’s bringing back the fireworks after a five year hiatus to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

The NPS said the return of the fireworks to the iconic national memorial reflects President Trump’s vision of a “grand celebration worth the momentous occasion.”

Tickets will be required to attend the event on July 3. An online ticket lottery will be held next month at recreation.gov.
