Starbucks Revamps Rewards Program Unveiling New Tier System

Starbucks just revamped its rewards program and unveiled a new tier system for customers.

The three new levels are Green, Gold and Reserve. Every tier will offer members a free order customization on one Monday per month, early access to personalized offers and games, and double loyalty points, known as “stars,” when using a personal cup.

Each tier offers its own exclusive perks. The Green is available for every customer starting Tuesday offering one star per $1 spent and more. The Gold tier unlocks after 500 stars are earned in a year and Reserve will be unlocked once a customer earns 2,500 stars within a year. Despite needing a certain amount for each tier, stars can also be redeemed for a variety of rewards.
