19 States Approved To Lock Clocks On Daylight Saving Time
Florida became the first state to call for the change followed by Delaware, South Carolina and more.
Time sprung forward over the weekend which gives us later sunrises and sunsets.
A handful of states are hoping this will be the last time we set our clocks forward an hour. 19 states have enacted legislation to permanently lock their clocks on daylight saving time.
While states can lock their clocks, federal regulations limit their decision to year-round standard time only.
Around eight years ago, Florida became the first state to call for the change followed by Delaware, South Carolina and more. Last year, Maine and Texas became the latest states to approve year-round daylight saving time legislation. Hawaii and Arizona are on a year-round standard time only.
