U.S. Conflict With Iran Continues Amid Ongoing Attacks

Americans have been evacuating as the U.S. closes several embassies and reduces diplomatic staff across the Middle East.

Israel and the U.S. are ramping up attacks on Iran as the war enters its fifth day.

Israel officials launched a new “broad wave” of strikes targeting the country’s leadership and security command centers.

President Trump said Iran’s air force and navy had been “knocked out.” In addition, the U.S. military reported it had destroyed 17 Iranian ships and around 2,000 targets.

Israel’s defense minister warned that whoever is chosen to replace slain Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will be considered a “target for elimination” if they continue policies threatening Israel, the U.S. and regional allies.

Meanwhile, Americans have been evacuating as the U.S. closes several embassies and reduces diplomatic staff across the Middle East.

More than 1,000 people, including children, have been killed in Iran since the fighting started over the weekend. Several U.S. service members have also died.
