Canada Shooting Leaves 9 Nine Dead, 25 Injured
The name of the suspected woman has not been released at this time and a motive remains unclear.
A mass shooting in Canada unfolded Tuesday becoming the deadliest school shooting for the country in decades.
The shooting happened at a school in remote northern British Columbia, leaving seven people dead, while two more were found deceased at a nearby home. A woman believed by police to be the shooter was also found dead from an apparent self-inflicted wound. More than 25 people were wounded, including two who had to be airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Tumbler Ridge Secondary School is in the Canadian Rockies and is near the Provincial border with Alberta. It has 175 students from grades 7-12th.
