Peguesw, Myrtrice Harriett Brown
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; they rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4 KJV Mrs. Myrtrice Harriett Brown Peguese, daughter of Bennie Clarence Brown and Katie Mae Law Brown, was born July 26, 1958 in Florence, South Carolina. God look in his vineyard and saw a faithful and diligent servant and said that it was time for her to take her rest. So on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, He called her home and said “job well done.” Harriett attended the public schools of Florence County and graduated from South Florence High School in 1976. She then went on and pursued her college education at Friendship Junior College. Upon completion of college, Harriett was employed with Sarah Lee Hosiery where she worked faithfully and diligently for many years. After Sarah Lee Hosiery closed, she later was employed by Office Depot until she became disabled to work. At an early age, Harriett joined Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Effingham where she served as a member of the Young Adult Choir and Usher Board. After being joined in holy matrimony on May 10, 1986 to Jimmy Peguese, she later joined Pee Dee Baptist Church and served as a choir member and President of the Pastor’s Aide Ministry. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Jimmy Peguese of the home; two step-sons, Donald Jordan and John Jason; one grandchild, Akaysia Lawson; two brothers, Bennie C., Jr. (Sandra) Brown of Conyers, GA and Emmanuel (Terrie) Brown of Florence, SC; four sisters, Julia Mae McAllister, Lucy Mae Brown, Sarah L.
