Stewart, Henry Douglas

Henry Douglas Stewart, age 77, died Monday, 1-31-11, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. Mr. Stewart was a US Navy Veteran, member and past president of the Exchange Club of Sanford. He was the founder and owner of the Antique Frame Co. He was preceded in death by a son Danny Parish, sisters, Betty J. Johnson, and Geanell Wicker, brothers, Billy Wicker and Jimmy Wicker. He is survived by his wife Louise Stewart, sons, Douglas Stewart and wife Karen, Johnny Stewart and wife Marla, Mickey Parish and wife Libby all of Sanford, daughters, Delores Patterson and husband Johnny, Cindy McDougald both of Sanford, a brother, Dr. Shelton Stewart and wife Barbara of Greenwood, SC, and sister, Peggy Lanier of Sanford, 9 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday (2-01-11) at Miller Boles Funeral Home of Sanford. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Union Presbyterian Church, 2000 Union Church Rd, Carthage, NC. Burial will follow at Stewart Family Cemetery, 5112 Buckhorn Rd., Sanford, NC. Memorials may be made to Union Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 898, Carthage, NC 28327.
