Greene, Charles

Charles R. Greene, 80, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at his home. Born on September 3, 1930 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Martin E. and Edsel Beach Greene. Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen L. Greene. Mr. Green is survived by one son, Thomas M. Greene (Tami) of Houston, TX; one daughter, Theresa Greene of Little River; three grandchildren, Sarah, Patrick and Avery Greene, and longtime friend, Ria Funkhouser. A graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando, FL on Wednesday, February 2 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, P.O. Box 3369, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. Lee Funeral Home & Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach is serving the family.
