Raw Oysters Linked To Salmonella Outbreak Across 22 States

The salmonella outbreak linked to oysters has sickened many in states including North and South Carolina.

A salmonella outbreak has been linked to raw oysters across 22 states.

At least 64 people have reported sickness after consuming the oysters. No deaths have been reported, but at least 20 people were hospitalized.

A recall has not been announced as it is unclear how many potentially contaminated oysters were sold and a common source of the oysters has not been identified by the CDC or FDA.
