Halloween Safety and a Daylight Saving Reminder with the MB Fire Department
Stay safe this holiday week and remember to set your clocks back and check smoke alarm batteries...
Capt. Jonathan Evans of the Myrtle Beach Fire Department was in the studio ahead of Halloween with some safety tips when it comes to the holiday.
Following Halloween, Daylight Saving time will creep up on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 a.m. It’s a great reminder to check your smoke detectors and make sure they’re in working order. Change out those batteries!
Also, a big congrats to Myrtle Beach Fire as they officially opened their new Station 3 to the public! This brand new addition to the City of Myrtle Beach will allow firefighters to give our community even better coverage with state-of-the-art technology, and more room for future growth in the city and the department.
