Bunch, Dolores Derrick

Dolores Marie Derrick Bunch, 64, of Bennettsville, died Monday, January 24, 2011. Mrs. Bunch was born in Darlington, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Frank P. and Helen Williams Derrick. Mrs. Bunch loved spending quality time with her family and traveling. She had a strong love and passion for children and enjoyed teaching for many years at Clio Elementary School until her retirement. Mrs. Bunch was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Bennettsville, founded by she and her husband in 1989. She loved her family and church family and will be dearly missed by all. Surviving are her husband, Reverend Julius Bunch of Bennettsville; her daughter, Frances Bunch of Darlington; her son, Patrick Bunch and wife, Donna of Florence; her grandchildren, Meghan Johnson of Darlington, Hannah Bunch and Daniel Bunch both of Florence; and her Aunt Leila Williams Yarborough of Lamar. Mrs. Bunch was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Faith Bunch. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 11 AM at Christian Fellowship Church in Bennettsville. Burial will follow at 2 PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Florence directed by Kistler Hardee Funeral Home of Darlington. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home of Darlington. Mrs. Bunch casket will be opened in the church on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 9:00 AM until time for the service.
