Stone, Jeanette

Jeanette Stone, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Monday morning, January 10, 2011 at the Tidelands Community Hospice House. She was born the daughter of Andrew Jackson Stone and Lizzie Mae Poston Stone on August 20, 1935 in Johnsonville, SC. She was a member of the Christian Fortress Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She leaves behind: two children, Jerry “Bubba” Harrington and Michelle L. (Tony) Cooper; four grandchildren, Eric, Nick, Hayley and Ridge; four great grandchildren, Kaylee, Natalie, Katie, and Brittany; two brothers, Garland “Junior” (Patricia) Stone and James “Bud” (Carolyn) Stone; two sisters, Jackie (Larry) Camlin-Forbes and Debbie (Ricky) Martin; and a large extended family including a brother-in-law, Louis Elliott, “loved as her own daughter”, Amy (Freddie) Dimmery and her children, Brook and Austin, and a number of nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; one daughter, Vickie M. Stone; and two sisters, Dorothy S. Gibson and Helen S. Elliott; and a brother-in-law, Barry W. Camlin. A Home Going Celebration will be 2 PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Christian Fortress Church with interment in the Bethel Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. The visitation will be Tuesday evening, January 11, 2011, in the sanctuary of the Christian Fortress. Memorials may be sent to the Tidelands Hospice.
