Ripley’s Aquarium To Host Special Make-A-Wish Birthday For Local Girl

Journey of Pawleys Island will be celebrating her 6th birthday becoming a mermaid.

Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach is hosting a special event Friday.

Journey of Pawleys Island will be celebrating her 6th birthday becoming a mermaid.

She is living with a blood disorder and her wish to be a mermaid is coming true as the aquarium partners with Make-a-Wish South Carolina board members to host the party.

A blue carpet featuring bubbles will be rolled out for Journey as she pulls up in a limo welcomed by cheering guests.

She will arrive at 11am alongside her family. She will be sporting a mermaid costume as she enters her themed party.
