Wilkins, Pauline Sellers

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” II Timothy 4: 6-8 (KJV) Mrs. Pauline Sellers Wilkins, daughter of Jerome and Lacy Johnson Sellers, was born on April 21, 1926 in Florence, South Carolina. She was called to eternal rest on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Carolinas Hospital System, after an illness. Mrs. Wilkins attended the public schools of Florence County. For several years, she was employed by the Segars Family, Vulcraft, Southeastern Freight and AT&T until her health declined. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Baptist Church where she was affiliated with several organizations. Mrs. Wilkins was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and mother-in-law. She will be dearly missed by her family, neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis Wilkins, Sr.; sons, Frank and Freddie Wilkins; two brothers, Eli and Samuel Sellers; and a sister, Geneva Beal. Those who will cherish precious memories are: one son, Curtis, Jr. (Vera) Wilkins of Florence, SC; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Louise McIntyre of Palmodale, CA; two brothers, Bishop Willie (Daisy) Sellers of Newport News, VA, and Bishop Arthur (Jacqueline) Sellers of Society Hill, SC; one daughter-in-law, Betty Wilkins of Florence, SC; two special friends, Mary Herbert and Cynthia Palestis of Florence, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
