Fatal Kentucky Church Shooting Suspect Identified

A mother and daughter died while the other two victims and the trooper were taken to hospitals to be treated for injuries.

The suspect of two separate shooting incidents in Kentucky has been identified.

On Sunday, 47-year-old Guy House was pulled over by a state trooper on a terminal road at the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington. The traffic stop was conducted due to a license plate alert.

During the stop, House shot the trooper and sped off leading to a nearly 16-mile police pursuit that ended at the Richmond Road Baptist Church.

As police caught up to him, House opened fire at the church striking four victims. A mother and daughter died while the other two victims and the trooper were taken to hospitals to be treated for injuries.

Police were forced to fatally shoot House amid the ongoing threat.

House reportedly had a domestic violence hearing set for Monday. He went to the church seeking the mother of his children who was not involved in the hearing.

When she wasn’t there he claimed someone had to die. He continued to shoot the woman’s mother and sister.

The investigation is ongoing.
