Moody, Linda

Linda Cox Moody, age 62, of Hope Mills, NC died on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 13, 1948 to the late Tilman and Hilda Connor Cox. She worked as a school bus drive for the State of North Carolina. Mrs. Moody is survived by a son, Carey “Thomas” Moody of Hope Mills, NC; four brothers, Sonny Cox of Lumberton, NC, Bobby Cox of Lumberton, NC, Dickie Cox of Lumberton, NC, and Tommy Cox of Lumberton, NC; three sisters, Annie Rose Bowen of Evergreen, NC, Myrtle Townsend of Monroe, NC and Elizabeth Taylor of Hope Mills, NC; and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, Lumberton with Rev. James Graham officiating. Burial will follow the service in New Hollywood Cemetery, Lumberton. Visitation will be on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary, 809 East 5th Street Lumberton, NC.
