Tangena catches up with Stephanie Warren of the Grand Strand Miracle League about their new tennis program.
Grand Strand Miracle Leagues is expanding its inclusive sports programs with the launch of a tennis program, set to begin in Fall 2025. This new program will provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of tennis in a fun, supportive, and accessible environment.
As Grand Strand Miracle Leagues prepares for the program’s launch, coaches and volunteers are needed to support players and help create an encouraging and engaging experience. Tennis experience is welcome but not required—volunteers of all backgrounds are encouraged to participate. Volunteers interested are invited to join for one of our two training sessions at Rivers Lynch Tennis Center: Friday, April 18 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm or Saturday, April 19 from 9:00 to
11:00 am.
