Mullins- Mamie Lee Ruth McDaniels Dimmery, 89, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Mullins Nursing Center. She was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late David Oscar and Lessie Venie Scott McDaniels. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred H. Dimmery . Survivors include three sons, Danny (Doris) Dimmery of Florence, Johnnie Dimmery and his companion, Cora Lee Miller of Britton‘s Neck, and Ted (Dianne) Dimmery of Marion; two daughters, Bonnie (Sam) Stephenson of Mullins and Vicki (Jerry) Turner of Kinston, N.C.; one sister, Ophelia “Chris” Hardwick of Mullins; four grandchildren, Deanne Morris, John Lehto Jr., Jennifer Hood, and Freddie Dimmery; two stepgrandchildren, Ranger Miller and Brittany Meggs, and four great-grandchildren, Brook and Austin Dimmery, Mackenzie Hood, and Gracie Lehto. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Devotion Gardens in Mullins. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer‘s Association, P.O.
