Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board Approves Two New Projects

A 360-unit apartment complex and amenity building has been given the green light.

The Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board has approved two new motions to bring new buildings to the area.

A 360-unit apartment complex and amenity building has been given the green light to be built along Wild Iris Drive off Highway 17 near Myrtlewood Golf Club. That development will be called Waypoint Apartments.

In addition, an Extended Stay America Hotel will also be developed. That will be located on Stockholder Avenue near Highway 501 and Robert Grissom Parkway.

It is unclear when construction will begin for either project.
