Clark, John

John Chalmers Clark, age 85 of Sanford passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at his home. Mr. Clark was born on November 23, 1925 in Durham, NC to the late Herbert Stanley Clark and Elizabeth Thomas Clark. He was a member of Northview Christian Church. He was a dairy farmer all of his life and a charter member of the Northview Fire Department. He is survived by a daughter, Janet Blake and husband Jesse of Wilmington, NC and a son, John C. Clark and wife Brenda of Sanford, NC. He is also survived by a sister, Margaret Simmons of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Capps Clark. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Northview Christian Church in Sanford. Burial will follow at Shallow Well Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Miller-Boles Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Memorials may be made to Northview Fire Department, 104 Perkison Rd., Sanford, NC 27330.
