Ross, Willodean

Willodean Barrineau Ross, age 88, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Tuomey Hospital after an illness. Born in Williamsburg County she was a daughter of the late William James Barrineau and Inez Isabelle Driggers Barrineau. Mrs. Ross was retired from Campbell Soup Company, a member of Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served as a member and on the board for the Women‘s Auxiliary, and a member of the Serving Committee. Surviving are three daughters, Jackie Cusaac of Timmonsville, Ann (Charlie) Matthews of Cades, Mary Ruth (David) Wilkes of Lake City. A daughter-in-law, Cyndie Ross of Murrells Inlet. Two sons, Donald (Ann) Ross of Turbeville, Larry (Patricia) Ross of Lake City. Two sister-in-laws, Mary Ethel Barrineau of Olanta and Annie Mae Barrineau of Turbeville. Two brothers, Venroe (Ann) Barrineau, Morrell (Videll) Barrineau both of Turbeville. Twenty six grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. Special friends, Lacy and Emmie Coker. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Ross. A daughter, Lizzie Dell Ross Kenney Barrere. A son, George “Buck” Ross. A sister, Mildred Osborne. Five brothers, James Alvin Barrineau, William Pet Barrineau, Delbert Barrineau, Marvin Barrineau and Hazel Barrineau. Two son-in-laws, Ray Cusaac and David Kenney. Three grandchildren, Teresa Ross, James Ross and Travis Wilkes. One great grandchild, J.R. Collins. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery of Turbeville, directed by FLOYD FUNERAL HOME, INC. of Olanta.
