Watford, Willard

Willard Emanuel Watford, age 86, died Sunday, December 12, 2010. Born August 18, 1924 in Darlington County, he was the son of the late George Watford and the late Currie Barr Watford. Willard worked in the textile industry for Spring Mills and was a farmer. Surviving is his son, Rickie (Judith Dale) Watford of the Oates Community, seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren, also, a sister Louise Rogers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elma Grady Watford. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Zion Cemetery in Lamar. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:45 Wednesday at Belk Funeral Home in Lamar and other times at the home of Rickie and Judith Dale, 3536 Gully Branch Road, Lamar(Oates).
