Morgan, Howard Douglas

Pinebluff, NC- Howard Douglas Morgan, age 82, died Tuesday, 12-07-10, at his home. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, 12-09-10 at Pinebluff United Methodist Church by Rev. Bill Williams. Burial with Military honors will follow at Pinebluff Cemetery. Mr. Morgan was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired after many years of service with J.P. Stevens. He also served 26 years with the Pinebluff volunteer fire department. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Nellie Smith Morgan, a daughter Lisa Morgan of Pinebluff, a sister Betty Yarbrough of Ellerbe, NC, a brother, Street Morgan of Asheboro, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9Pm Wednesday, 12-08-10, at Boles Funeral Home of Pinehurst.
