Clark, Nolie Grooms
Nolie Grooms Clark, age 89 of Laurinburg passed away on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Morrison Manor. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. Lloyd King, Rev. Glenn Volrath and Rev. Marvin Taylor. Burial will follow the service at Pinecrest Cemetery. Mrs. Clark was born June 25, 1921 in Marlboro County, South Carolina, daughter of the late Jim and Florence Grooms. She was the beloved wife of the late James Hubert Clark. She was a homemaker that dedicated her life to caring for her family and others. She attended both the Gibson Pentecostal Holiness Church and Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Nolie will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and a devoted friend to many. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Hubert Clark, grandchildren, Connie Grant and Thomas Ray Grant; great-great granddaughter, Emerald Sage Edwards and all of her brothers and sisters. Mrs. Clark leaves behind her children, Margaret Helton and husband Ray of Laurinburg, Sarah Radford and husband George of Gibson, Nellie Fay Stubbs of Laurinburg, Tony Clark and wife Jan of Hamlet; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8th at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
