Bizzarri, Eloise Hendricks

Eloise Hendricks Bizzarri, age 97, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Penick Village in Southern Pines. She was born on March 8, 1913 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Eldon and Ethel Mason Hendricks. After graduating high school, she attended the New England Conservatory of Music and the Vesper George Art School in Boston, MA. She later married William John Bizzarri and managed his dental office in Piermont, NY. After retiring to Sanford, she was the President of the Brush and Palette Club, ran the Mission Center and was also a member of the Newcomer‘s Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother, Charles Hendricks. She is survived by a daughter, Julie B. Shaylor and husband Thomas of Southern Pines, NC; sons, Stephen M. Bizzarri and wife Kathy of Jackson, MS, and Philip L. Bizzarri and wife Diane of Pittsboro, NC; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony‘s of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Southern Pines with Msgr. Jeffrey A. Ingham officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Penick Village, P.O. Box 2001, Southern Pines, NC 28388. Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines is serving the family.
