Israel Vows Hezbollah Will “Pay The Price” After Fatal Attack
The strike is the deadliest to hit Israel or Israeli-controlled territory since the October 7 attacks conducted by Hamas.

A rocket attack in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights resulted in the death of 12 children who were reportedly playing on a soccer field at the time. 44 others were left injured.
The strike is the deadliest to hit Israel or Israeli-controlled territory since the October 7 attacks conducted by Hamas.
Hezbollah has has strongly denied responsibility. However, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes against Hezbollah targets inside Lebanese territory and along the border as a response. It was not immediately clear whether there were any casualties from those strikes.
The incidents have further escalated tensions in the Middle East amid ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas.
